The short version

If you fill in the care-request form, we get the kind of care you're asking about, your town, and your phone number. We use that to call you back about care. We don't sell it, we don't add you to a mailing list, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

What we collect, and when

We only collect information you type in yourself. There is no account to create, no login, and no tracking pixel on this website.

  • The care-request form: the type of care you select, your location in Delta State, and your phone number.
  • If you call, WhatsApp or email us: whatever you choose to tell us in that conversation, including details about the person who needs care.

The type of care you select can imply something about a person's health. We treat that as sensitive and handle it accordingly: it goes to the people arranging the care and nowhere else.

Why we hold it

To call you back, to work out what kind of care is actually needed, and to arrange it. That's the whole purpose. We don't profile you, we don't score you, and nothing here feeds an automated decision.

Who else sees it

  • Formspree delivers the form to our inbox. Your submission passes through and is stored on their service. They act on our instructions and don't use it for their own purposes.
  • The care professional assigned to you — the caregiver, nurse, doctor or physiotherapist who will actually be providing care — sees what they need to do the job properly.
  • Our ambulance partners, if you ask us to arrange emergency transport. Ambulances are operated by partner providers, not by Lins Medcare, so arranging one means passing on the pickup details.

That's the list. We do not sell your details, rent them, or share them with advertisers.

How long we keep it

Care-request details are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up, then deleted. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we will, unless we're required to keep a record of care that was actually delivered.

Other services this website uses

  • Google Fonts supplies the two typefaces. Loading a font means your browser contacts Google, which means Google can see your IP address.
  • Google Search Console tells us which search terms bring people here. It reports totals, not individuals.
  • Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, as every web server does.

This website sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser. There is no advertising or behavioural tracking on it, which is why you aren't being asked to accept anything.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to us using it. Contact us and we'll deal with it. We won't ask you to justify the request.

Children

This website isn't aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Where care is being arranged for a minor, we deal with the parent or guardian.

Changes

If we change how any of this works, we'll change this page. There's no version history to dig through: what's on this page is what we currently do.
